To keep your beautiful leather bags clean, you must first understand what type of leather you are dealing with.
If it is nappa or in any case a smooth and therefore very porous leather, be very careful, any trace of humidity could ruin it, so take a cotton ball and a little cleansing milk and rub until completely absorbed. Attention! Do not put too much cleansing milk together, rather repeat the operation several times.
If instead it is hammered calfskin, you have two options, the first and safest is always the cotton ball and the facial cleansing milk, but if you really have to do a deeper cleaning you can prepare a solution with 2 liters of warm water and bicarbonate; immerse the cloth in the water and wring it out very well, until it remains only slightly damp, rub the surface well.
If it is suede, never apply creams or a damp cloth but you can clean it with some specific brushes or with a bit of sandpaper for walls. Use the 00 super fine and pass it without pressing too much on the parts to be cleaned.
